Aguarda no te vayas.

¿Duermes?

Are you asleep? Wait, it´s not late. Don´t lower the sails of your ship. Don´t let it die out.
Are you asleep? Wait and tell me we are at dawn. Look!,the morning light snort in the horizon line; the waves riding the angry winds comes in crashing the meerschaum by the still rocks. Its many tears look like diamonds which light transforms into amber and fire until make them disappear.
Are you asleep? Stay put, for the sun is still a red sphere emerging from the sleepy sea; for the sun also sleeps yawning colors that stain the coast red. Are you asleep? Be patient and let the light fingers brush the room whilst awakening flowers, waves and pictures.
Are you sleep? Remain, there they come, rumors dressed like white gulls. With their song the lighthouse switches off his night watchful eye.
Asleep, I know. Also asleep wander the fleeting shadows towards noon until they stretch themselves. When night comes, I'll sleep in the Atlantic, while you, ever so quiet, will watch over waves and boats with your round and silver light.
